Obviously this band is not going for the polished clean sound that most Smashrays embrace, but something about it warrented a spot amidst the proto-rays. Postive energy, not the typical Smashray sunny, cool positivity - music made for doing cannonballs. I think these guys went on to play with some indie rock big dogs. Makes you wonder about an alternate reality where indie rockers and Smashrays were embracing each other more openly and what the results could have been. [Bill]
